Bull riding mania booked at Morgan County Fair Get ready for all the thrills and action of bull riding mania at the Morgan County Fair! On Tuesday, Sept. 8, at 7:30 p.m. in front of the grandstand, A-Bar Rodeo Productions will present bull riding at its finest, featuring some of the best bucking stock this side of the Mississippi. A-Bar has stood the test of time when it comes to professional rodeo. In business for many years, they have been providing quality family entertainment to crowds of all ages. With top rodeo rough stock, the quality of contestants follows. A-Bar is able to attract the type of cowboys and girls that crowds enjoy watching. Bull riding is the most dangerous event in rodeo. The cowboy ties his hand into a bull-rope and nods his head. Then 1800 pounds of bucking bull blows out of the chute. Bull riders live on the edge, their abilities pitted against the bull’s athletics and attitude. Stay on for eight seconds, then the hard part begins – getting away from one mad bull! It doesn’t get any wilder than this! Pat and Mary Ayers, owners of A-Bar Rodeo Productions, have deep roots in the sport, as Pat used to ride bulls and broncs before becoming involved with producing and contracting rodeos and bull riding events. Mary also plays perhaps a more important roll as the official rodeo secretary, who pays the top contestants at each event. For family entertainment at its best, come out to this “bull mania” event at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, at the Morgan County Fair!
