The hunt is over for a carnival for the Logan Fourth of July celebration. After being without a major carnival for the event the past two years, the Logan Chamber of Commerce was contacted by Tom Thomas, owner of Blues Amusements, requesting to come back. According to Thomas, one of the reasons Blues Amusements decided not to return to Logan the past two years was it had been offered a larger carnival opportunity with a bigger community. They ran into many problems with this decision - too much money to drive further into the state, not enough drivers and the rising cost of fuel. Thomas told the Chamber Blues had made a business decision they now regret. The carnival will be back July 2-5. They will provide 10 carnival rides, 10 games and one food stand. As of this week, the 10 rides will be a Ferris wheel, berry-go-round, little tikes train, little kids motorcycles, bounce house, rock-o-plane, octopus, scrambler, glass house and swings. The rides are subject to change, but are pretty well set, said Nikki Allen, president of the Logan Chamber of Commerce. Wristband times and ticket prices will be announced at a later date. "We are very excited to have Blues Amusements back for our Fourth of July festivities," Allen said. "We would like to encourage the
