The one and only "King of the Blues," B.B. King, will open the 2008 Solano County Fair package of headliner entertainment July 9 to 13 at the fairgrounds, near the intersection of Interstate 80 and Highway 37. King will sing and strum his guitar, Lucille, July 9; country favorite Craig Morgan perform at July 10; R&B mainstay Keith Sweat is onstage at July 11; and Rooney July 12. All the concerts begin at 8 p.m. The Latino sounds of Carmen Jara and El Chichicuilote closes the fair July 13. That concert begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets range from $19 to $39 for King, $8 to $15 for Morgan, $10 to $29 for Sweat, $8 to $15 Rooney, and $8 to $15 for Jara/El Chichicuilote. All concert tickets include fair admission.
