Five months ago, the man behind this stunning 50 million euro aquatic theme park paradise, founder and general manager Christoph Keissling, took Tenerife News on a landrover tour of the site overlooking the Atlantic at Costa Adeje. Last week, we were back to see the incredible progress which has been made now the countdown is well and truly on to the official, if low-key, opening. Gone are the dirt tracks which once led up to the daredevil, record-breaking water rides such as The Volcano with its spectacular laser show and The Tower of Power which has the second highest plunge in the world. There is now a circular route around the whole park so you can take in every single attraction. The Thai-shaped buildings all now have a roof, the giant heated wave pool is now surrounded by soft white sand from Portugal, the lazy river which meanders through the park now has sparkling blue water for you to ride on and there are luscious trees, shrubs and flowers everywhere you look. With his meticulous eye for quality and attention, Christoph asks the teams still hard at work on the site to reposition a palm tree just inside the huge Thai entrance towers. The original location, he explains, was too uniform, too precise. He wants the park to look
