Little Sorudhan Ali could not hide her excitement in front of her guardians while her friend was spell bound by the experience of a lifetime. They are inmates of the SOS children village who recently visited the Northeast's first amusement park - Accoland - situated under the picturesque mountain on the Rani road at the outskirts the city. Accompanied by their 'father', director of the village, Subhash Kaul, the 207 inmates recently visited the theme park, an experience they said would remain indelible in their minds. The amusement park, sprawled over a huge plot of land at Azara, 19 km from here, is promoted by the Accoland Amusement Private Limited and provides the thrills, family and children's rides, supplied by one of the largest manufacturers of amusement rides in the country.
