Daily visitors total near 1000

Naturally, our unique visitors, change on a daily basis but at the current writing hover around 1000 people from all over the United States. When you click on the graphic to the left, you will see that people are dropping in every few minutes.

To get some comparison, think of someone buying an Amusement Business Magazine every few minutes, all day, all night, every day of the year.

Many of these unique visitors will visit several pages which means the impression of an ad purchased by you, will be seen several times and continuously, while they are on our site.

Our readership changes from time to time based on the time of the year and the season, but our graphs show a continuous upward spiral of visits and page views. You can expect a greater influx of showpeople during the Winter months and a huge base of loyal readers during the Fair Season and Summer months.

Although expansion is planned for the future, at the present time, our main web addresses are at www.carnytown.com,and www.carnivalboard.com, but we are prominent in all search engines, especially the industry standard search, Google. Most search terms relating to carnival rides and theme parks will bring references to our sites.

The blog/site features News, Views, Links, and loads of ways to communicate related to the Carnival industry and Amusement/Water Parks. We also feature insightful articles about Carnies and Amusement Industry Executives. The appeal is broader than the industry magazines of the past due to the medium and also appeals to Planners, Committees and curious customers looking for a good way to spend their leisure dollars.
With unlimited ways to use color and print, our 24/7 site has no limit. Video, sound, motion, vibrant colors and full use of the new Web 2.0 standards set us aside from static web sites and the print medium.

Our newest addition to Carny Town is our Social Network which allows for unlimited uploading of Photos, Videos and Music along with participation in Chats, Forums, Groups and each member signed up receives their own blog page, linked to our main page. We also provide ways to embed photos, videos and music from the customers blog to their Facebook account. Since this medium is expanding quickly we expect to add more exciting features in the near future. Most of our members can expect to see something new and exciting every month.

Getting maximum coverage for your dollar

Your advertising will be seen on every page on the site that allows for advertising material. This includes the opening page which is our Social Network (it is not necessary to be a member to just view the site). The number of views will depend on how many click throughs to other areas of our site since your ad will be on every page of the site including the opening one.

But that said, our daily unique visitors are averaging around 1000 per day on the Social Networks and blog pages. And these numbers are increasing every day.

The first step

You probably want to know your first step towards determining the cost of an ad and what copy is necessary and what you have to do to provide it. The first step is easy.

Don't panic. It is really very simple, perhaps even more simple than print media advertising.

It's likely that you have no knowlege of pixels per inch and may not want to design the ad yourself and if that is the case, no problem. Either provide us with copy and pictures by attaching it to an email sent to showpeople@verizon.net or send us hard copy via snail mail to Carny Town, 128 Osborne St., Auburn, NY 13021, Attention: T. Hoey.
We will be happy to use your copy but it is not necessary.

The only constraints will be on the size of the ad and its ability to fit on the page location that you have chosen. 
After seeing your copy we will advise you of what is possible. We may be able to do this on the phone but in any case we will email you with our quote.

Our normal routine is to create and post the ad which you will then view and give your approval or suggestions for changes. A sample ad in the right column is, this small ad:
